The drain tile system is composed of a perforated pipe surrounded by gravel to collect water from the surrounding soil and direct it to a sump pump. The sump pump then pumps the water out of the home and away from the foundation. In addition to the drain tile, a vapor barrier system is installed on the walls of the foundation to prevent molding and keep moisture levels down. This protects all future finishes and belongings.

French Drains
Downspout Extensions, and Grading
French Drains are a great alternative to drain tile, when the grade of the land allows it. Like drain tile, it is a 4" perforated pipe with a gravel filter. Weed fabrics can be used in the process for an additional filter. You can lead and tie in downspouts into the drain tile system to eventually exit at the 9"x9"x12" drain boxes. We also raise window wells, and create berms and swales to ensure water stays away from your foundation.

Our sump pumps are designed to help keep basements dry and free of water. They are typically installed in a sump pit, which is a big cup (with a lid) in a hole in the basement floor. This sump pit collects water from around the perimeter of the basement or wherever there is drain tile. The sump pump is at the bottom of the sump pit and is connected to a discharge line. Zoeller sump pumps are designed to be low maintenance and reliable, so you can count on them to keep your basement dry and free of water.

Exterior Drain Tile
Most foundation repair jobs are unique due to different elevations, materials, soils, finishes, and so forth. Exterior drain tile is a good solution because we don't have to tear into your finishes in the basement of your home. Exterior drain tile is installed with 4" perforated pipe, and a gravel filter. We use Mell Roll, or a Fiber Cement mix to waterproof the wall, and backfill with gravel, and install a good grade to ensure a dry basement. We also extend downspouts and raise window wells to take extra precautions.
